    I think you're spot on Speak. I believe the district is gong to have to prove to the residents that they're going to reinvent the wheel. I doubt that they'll get much in the line of concessions with the existing staff but I would certainly think the unions would have to make some big changes for future hires.

    They're in deficit spending now. If the referendum generates what they are predicting it will in revenue, it will barely cover that deficit. It would therefore stand to reason that they will have to decrease or at the very least maintain existing expenditure levels or they will find themselves in the same predicament in the very near future.

    I'm still going to vote yes. I'm not looking at this vote as an endorsement of the district employees as much as I am a vote for my home and property.
