I have been getting labwork done at Quest for about 15 years and it is the same there. I give them the paperwork and insurance card, they ask how I would want to be billed should I have a balance after insurance, and they have to put my info in the computer. It's always been that way. It really doesn't take that long though, at least not at Quest. I don't think it has anything to do with Obamacare.
