there are a lot of problems with all forms of education. I used to be a school teacher myself back in the early eighties. Bad parenting in a lot of the problems, way too many regulations, and many teachers who shouldnt be in the trade at all. I stopped teaching in part, because I didnt enjoy it enough to be the best, which is what the kids deserve. So many teachers are just complacent at their job, and just pure lazy. There are also many wonderful public servants in place. And, that is exaclty what teachers are. Its a shame we cant vote them in, and of course, out as well. I think they ought to be paid for their performance, not just for showing up. I could tell you stories about the industry that you would think I was making up. Parents better listen to their kids, and get more involved with the education process. The whole education that the child receives, is exactly what the person works for. Some bad, some good. I with great interest a story about 3 kids that had not missed any day at school in 13 years. Its no coincidence that all 3 were the best of the best, and were getting full rides at colleges. They got what they worked for. Not too many succesful children are decendants of pot smoking, drug infested, no rules anything goes homes. Sad to say, the kids only get one chance at it.
