It's today's parents that have caused superintendents to cancel school at the drop of a hat. You know how many parents would be sitting in the shadows waiting for something to happen to their child. Then they would follow with it up with a lawsuit, media involvement, and find a way to blow something so minor out of proportion. So, to avoid this, they call of school and make the days up at the end of school. Also, with today's social media outlets, people have easier ways to voice their silly complaints. Parents today feel they are entitled to the world, and it is only getting worse.
