And it is cheaper to produce talk shows and game shows than it is a daytime drama. I do not watch reality TV, game shows, and rarely a talk show. Y&R is the only daytime show I watch anymore, and I record that because my husband likes to watch it with me. If I am home during the day I would rather listen to music than watch TV.
