I have to say that last night was the most creeped out I've ever been with trick-or-treaters. Not only were some parents also dressed in costume, but they also walked up to the door carrying their own bags. There was one dad who wasn't in costume but his kids were. He came up to the door first and looked through the storm door as if he were casing out my house. When I opened the door, he held out a bag before his kids even had a chance too. I wanted to say something, but I didn't want to cause trouble.
I really think I'm going to start closing the door and turning off the lights at 8:00, because that's when the big kids and adults start coming out.
