We went through the same thing at our old house about 7 or 8 years ago. They came out several times and changed lines and connectors and it didn't fix the problem. The technician finally told us that the problem was somewhere on the main line and they couldn't find it. After 6 weeks of our internet mostly being down, we switched providers. Now at our new house we've gone back to Charter and haven't had any problems so far.
