Dee, I guess everyone is losing internet service or too afraid to leave the basement. LOL! I too am glad the library issue passed, especially so overwhelmingly. Good to see some of our public understands the importance of public accessibility. I think the small turnout helped this issue.
Not too many surprises for me last night. I felt Mrs. Whitaker would beat her opponent soundly and she did. I believed Mrs. Hagnauer would make the school board. She did. I thought Mr. Burnett would make it. He didn't.
The township races were interesting. Even with all the negative activity Coach Baker came a close second. Goes to show you there are alot of "soccer fans" out there. I guess Gene shut the kid's mouth about a week too late.
Anyway, with new blood on the school board we should see many of the problems go away. (Can you tell sarcasm when you hear it?) Wish we could overturn the state officials so easily. Governor Ryan needs to go obviously.
Not many other "sweeping" changes. Low turn out. Most people must be happy with everything.
