OSHA ( Occupation, Safety and Health Administration )has jurisdiction over off-highway loading and unloading and the heath an well-being of employees. OSHA is also interprets and applies the rules of 29 CFR 1910 ( OSHA regulations and standards ). IDOT ( Illinois Department of Transportation )has jurisdiction over interstate driving and hauling. SOS ( Secretary of State of Illinois )has jurisdiction over Commercial Drivers Licensing ( CDL )examination, and the certification of the category that a driver needs. The SOS also administers disqualification of driving privileges for offenses such as DWI, DUI, suspensions, cancellations or revocations. State and local law enforcement groups issue citations and arrest violators of the rules that govern our conduct. I'm not really sure ( even though the departments are somewhat intertwined )how much OSHA has authority in the Township complications. You can bet that the interest the topics have generated, some of the people in charge in our State and the public in our community will be watching.
