I don't resent them for having the money that they do, after all, their cash, their business, but really, 30K on a birthday party?
Donate the money to charity for crying out loud, or put it in a college fund for the child, that would be money better spent, and the kid isn't going to grow up to be a spoiled brat that can't function in life, because they expect everything to be handed to them....
