You heard straight from the horse's mouth..."my friends are going to be SO jealous".
You see, that's what it's all about.
I have posted it on this board so many times before.
When my last two were in high school, parents like this twit mother in this video, LIVED for their children to be envied by the other kids.
It was the driving force that made them tick.
I saw it a hundred times.
I saw out of control, disrespectful, over-indulged brats, like the characters in "Mean Girls" whose mothers didn't care if they could construct a sentence, as long as they had and flaunted the best of everything.
Heck, when I drove through the high school's parking lot, half of the kid's cars were better and newer than my own. Really, what high school junior deserves a brand new Mustang handed to them?
I can't imagine making it a priority for my child at this age to be aware of how much others are jealous or envious of them and what they have.
It's a vulgar, vulgar display of wealth and insecurity and stupidity on the part of these mothers.
Boy oh boy, I pity this kid's teachers down the road or the poor young man who ends up with this kid for a wife, or the boss who has her as an employee.
