It's tricky when the government forces its citizens by law to pay private businesses for a product.
Corruption, gouging, bribery to name a few issues. Sure, the wealthiest schools would attract the best teachers and staff. But they wouldn't attract the best students, but rather the students who have more financially beneficial backgrounds. I almost believe it would limit opportunities for the middle & lower classes.
Our future health care system could suffer the same set of flaws. Public-private partnerships should be completely outlawed. It should be either...or.
