Hi Sandy. I have Psoriasis on both elbows. I've tried several different prescription ointments and a couple of over-the-counter ones, and nothing has worked. I've recently started using a gel that has aloe vera, tea tree extract, and Lidocaine and it's helped a little so far. It's actully for sunburn relief. I'll let you know how it works after I've used it longer.
I've checked online and found that one of my blood pressure medications can cause Psoriasis, so I'm going to ask my doctor about trying something different next time I see her. I'm hoping she'll let me try getting off of this one completely since my blood pressure has been good.
