GIT "gets" it. My post was dripping with sarcasm which is difficult to convey sometimes through words typed on the internet. Yes. The press release presents all the positives and that's truly wondderful. I am glad that people will be working, whether it be part-time, full-time, benefits or not. Truly. Employment is a wonderful thing now days. Some of the negative scenarios I pointed out are indeed true and if you think they're not, you're living in a fantasy world.
Simply expressing that not everyone is happy to see a Super Walmart in Granite City. I did not state that everyone who works there is on public aid. Some people worship Walmart, some people despise it just like we do with every store/business. One bad experience can ruin it for a customer or a city.
