They can raise my taxes as long as I see the services. When I drive the highways of our great state I see weeds six foot high, pot holes a foot deep, trash etc... If you're going to keep taking the same amount of money at least deliver the same services we had years ago.
Put the friggin prisoners on chain gangs and clean things up.
valid points you make opi - and i agree with you on these points.
just have to make sure our legal system is efficient enough to prevent the abuse of a prisoner labor system that would resemble slavery.
maybe pay them a wage for when their sentence is over, they will have relocation money saved up for them.
but that can create problems too - people committing crimes to get a bonus check...
ultimately...i agree - if the american people see the effects and benefit from the money spent, then i say raise taxes...we must.
we must raise taxes AND work towards cutting fat from the government...
just so happens to be the current goal of our president.
