It's none of my business what the bill is...but I look at my potential bill... and it looks like it could near $80 a month, if I take my plan and add data.
Still, there is something about the apps and the ability to scan to get information, coupons, and the such.
I'd like to think the bottom would fall out of pricing, but I think those prices may actually be on the rise.
Thanks for your positive view about it. I'm not thanking you in a patronizing way..but it's good to know that there is at least one person that finds it worthwhile.
One thing I don't ever want is a GPS. It is one of my pride factors...but my car didn't come with a simple device that could give me what direction I am going. It would be nice just to be able to look when I'm at a crossroads to verify the right direction.
Last night, such a thing happened to me, and I just guessed and spend 20 extra minutes of precious time finding my way.
I contend that without GPS - I get to learn whatever area I am in and wrong turns still give me information about the area. Once in a while though, it costs me precious time, when I have to get where I need to be. I didn't end up late, but I sure cut it closer than I would have liked.
So there are some good reasons for a smart phone.
Someone just told me that I-pad can be connected to a 3G or 4G... That would be even better if I could make my dumb phone even dumber and get the 'senior' plan if I am able to get it down to 200 minutes...do telephoning through Magic jack and get the Ipad 3G. Magic Jack does not have 618 numbers available, but Google Voice might provide an outlet for that.
Who knows how it works.
I move slow on things like this...and then again nothing may happen....
