It's not just because it happens at church. As I said, I feel that way about anywhere I park my car. I said, it's happened elsewhere also. You feel wronged for whatever reason by a church and feel it's ok if others are wronged just because. I've done nothing to you, never met you, that I know of, and have nothing against you. I don't care what you do or whom you do it with. Not my business. Likewise, I'd like to think you have the same respect for me not to advertise whatever you like on my property as I would not do that to you, even if the church wanted me to. Again, basic, mutual respect of person and property.
No, they don't harm my car, I didn't say they did. The people could, but haven't yet. My speeding doesn't harm the road, yet I get a ticket if I'm caught. So why do they stop me from doing what apparently must be someone else's pet peeve if I've hurt nothing, it's not my pet peeve, yet millions of hours are spent on speed control? What a about seat belts, if I don't wear it, no one is injured but me. yet I've been pulled over once strickly for a seat beat violation. $50 donation to the great state of Illinois for something that affects no one but me. AND I can get on a motorcycle, no helmut, no problem. In a giant metal box of a car, gotta have that seat belt, on bike with absolutely zero cranial protection - No problem. That's a waste of government for you. Protecting my property from others, not a waste in my eyes. Before the 'what if' or 'your not as likely to' argument starts......with my speeding I've injured no one, I've killed no one, just the same way no one has damaged my car, they are less likely to if they don't touch it.
Anytime a law is created, someone must have had some issue to start it. That's why laws are created. If no one agrees with me, fine. No law. It's that simple. I'm not going to stamp my feet, litter a parking lot, or wish economic failure on someone for a flyer. I'll live. I don't like someone doing anything to my property with out my permission. It is simply a basic issue of respecting something someone has worked hard to earn. That's all. If I'm the only one who feels that way, the idea goes no further than this discussion page. I'm over it, this time. Next time, I'll not like it then either, but I won't harp on it here. That should make everyone happy.
