It marks their life forever, and not all recover or heal the same way. The point I was making Dee, is that it leads to a lifetime of suffering, which to me is almost equal to death, if not worse... To me rape/sexual abuse is about equal of a crime to murder.... The death penalty for rape is like bringing a Bazooka to a knife fight. It's not even close to being a punishment that fits the crime and thank God that not even trigger happy Texas would execute for it. Mississippi and Louisiana still had it until the Supreme Court outlawed it, which constitutionally, they no business getting involved in a state matter like that, but another discussion for another day.... Looks like another issue we'll never see eye to eye on
