I find it rather amusing to imagine anyone feeling intimidated by Jon. He's a petite, soft-spoken man.
He's never left any meeting early that I've attended. I've never tried to find him at his office at 9am, so I can't comment on that.
Metal Hedz was the first new downtown business, in 2006. Jon had nothing to do with bringing us here. We decided that we wanted to be in downtown, and we gave our business proposal to Brenda, as the Chairman of the Downtown Committee. I don't see Jon as a person that basks in the spotlight, at all.
As far as this part: "and didn't they show appreciation by hauling u off in handcuffs because the way u parked in front of your place?"
Someone at City Hall didn't like where I parked my motorcycle and had the police ticket me. When my hubby got to the store after work and found out about it, he wrote on the sidewalk with his grand daughter's sidewalk chalk (something about the condition of the sidewalk). Then he took the ticket and went into City Hall to talk to the Mayor. His son-in-law, in the meantime, stood on the sidewalk and flipped off the City Hall building. The Mayor was already gone, so hubby came back to the store. Shortly thereafter, the police arrived and asked who wrote on the sidewalk and proceeded to arrest him. After that his grand daughter was afraid to write on the sidewalk with her chalk. Because she was afraid the police would take her away, like she watched them do to her grandpa. We have our suspicions of who it was that called the police. I'll just leave that right there.
