We all hit a nerve tonight, haven't we? Feeling guilty about this? the city of st. louis is pushing rehabbing old buildings - which is expensive - so expensive only very wealthy people could afford them - so they receive assistance from the CITY and STATE of MO to bring people down there. unless you work in the city of st.louis - it cost you tards nothing. It doesn't matter which division of government is paying for it, the point is, that you were living in a nice loft at the expense of taxpayers somewhere along the line..... If they developers did not build apartment buildings that were affordable enough for hardly anyone to live in that should have been their loss, and no one else's, and definitely not the taxpayers of the state of Missouri and the city of St. Louis. They should have sold the building in that case. The fact that you decided to live there on government money, when you could have lived elsewhere, is to me ripping off the taxpayers. It drained money from better things that they could have spent the money on, like say, roads, bridges, more police officers...... Have you no shame?
