I live in Houston and have for the past 19 years. I have never seen one here in this area. I have attended plenty when I lived in Granite. Typically here, we have a BBQ booth benefiting families typically like if a person is badly injured in an accident, or a terminally ill child, etc. People just go and buy a BBQ plate and take it home. These are typically held in a parking lot of a grocery store or other retail area.
