I am sure there are several of them and they are good benefits I am sure.

I read about one recently at the Madison Amvets, so if it hasn't gone on, it's a worthy cause and I wish it well.

When I came across that link, I wondered about Chicken and Beer dances. Is this something people do all over the country or is it a local thing?

When I googled "Chicken and Beer Dance" - I found links to all sorts of them in the St. Louis area.

Now I know Google tries to bring events from wehre the IP searched it - but still other than one solitary link for an even in New York - almost all of these were in the St. Louis area, and were more concentrated in the Metro East than anywhere else.

On the first page of googling, there was one in St. Jacob, Fairview Heights, and Collinsville. Then one in Missouri and then the New York link.

I am just wondering if Chicken and Beer dance is a Uniquely St. Louis tradition.

But they almost always are used to benefit people - and well - people here are good! And they love beer, and chicken goes well with beer.
