If the right to free speech is threatened to some, it's threatened to all .. Freedom of individual thought, belief, opinion and expression is not being threatened .. as Judge Alito expressed, "Our profound national commitment to free and open debate is not a license for the vicious verbal assault that occurred in this case," and from William Hurd, "In my view, the majority's decision was not necessary to preserve vigorous public debate, and the result will inevitably detract from the civility of our public discourse .." So in my humble opinion, this ruling just opened the gates for every offensive, slanderous, incendiary, offensive, hurtful, malicious freedom of expression immaginable ~ HATE SPEECH begets violence. No more civilized conduct .. No more civilized society.
