You seem to be fairly intelligent Why thank you sir. How kind. The Family Taxpayers Foundation is probably your best bet for finding out salaries (http://www.familytaxpayers.org/salary.php). McKechan made $140,000 in 2007 but that's neither here nor there. Burnett made $77,000 in 2009, not as much as I would have guessed. So yes, you're correct, most are not as close to six figures as I would have guessed though they all did well for themselves (once again, not that there's anything wrong with that) and, along with their spouses' salaries, have seemingly lived comparably comfortable lives. Many teachers make close to six figures for the record. More BS? The only other thing I said was that I didn't see Marty Levault at the Jan. 25th meeting and it seems I was correct. But this is declining quickly into a gossip fest. Back to the election... It's been a long time since I was a twenty-something political science major but I still don't underestimate the power of old-fashioned campaigning tactics such as yard signs. Nor do I underestimate the power of 21st century campaigning tactics such as websites. If candidates such as Wingerter are ahead as far as campaigning, why shouldn't we consider them ahead in the race? Again, explain your logic aside from "I'm not voting for him so he doesn't have a shot in hell." (I'm only mentioning Wingerter here since Jones is head-to-head and therefore in a very different race.) Good discussion thus far opinionated.
