so you honestly think, that if we raised taxes all the rich people would just leave this country? the country that allowed them an endless pursuit of greed and wealth?
That is exactly whats happing RIGHT NOW
see - when we talk about actual taxes - and not a scenario about a group of drinking buddies - we have to take into account what those tax dollars do - or what they pay for
The point is to show how unfair our progressive tax system is. (but you can't bridge the gap to understand that.)
when i hear it - it makes me want to puke.
