the burden of paying taxes is one we must all face. even if some people get back more than they pay in - they are still consumers. they still keep businesses open and pay taxes on everything they buy like everyone else. i can not stand hearing someone say the government is taking THEIR money and giving it to others. consider YOUR tax money a part of the budget you support. for example - maybe YOUR tax dollars paid a portion of a police officers salary. i mean republicans even acknowledge this as truth - that is why bush gave a lump sum check to every home in america - to stimulate the consumer to spend. i see nothing wrong with people getting back money to help them buy things they can not otherwise attain - it is hard to save money living paycheck to paycheck and these tax returns are a much needed blessing to many americans up to their ear in debt. perhaps if capitalism did not fail america..we could sing a different tune.
