    I'm sure they work fine, but my recommendation is to save your money. Go to the library website. With your free library card, you can request a wide range of exercise DVDs ranging from walking workouts to bootcamp type things. You can get whatever fits your fitness range and get new things every week to keep your body guessing.

    Spend a few dollars and get some hand weights (start with 3,5,8 unless you are already in decent shape), a yoga mat, a stability ball, and maybe some "steps". Much of that can be found free or cheap at garage sales, freecycle, or craigslist.

    sparkpeople.com is a great FREE site you can use to keep track of your food intake and exercise. They will even tell you what you need to do to hit your goal weight.
