I'm not raising a Bernie sign in my yard, but you have point regarding Obama.
Nothing would make me happier than to see him "just say no" and close the door on any deal with Republicans regarding the extension of temporary tax cuts. Considering the House has already passed the middle-class cuts, it would not take any analysis to realize that Senate Repubs held up middle-class cuts for the interest of the extreme elite. I remember Clinton shutting Washington down back in the 90s over a disagreement with Congressional Repubs. He certainly came out ahead.
And the responses on this post are absolutely ludicrous. From Lawler & Quayle's downright disrespect thru the stereotypical labeling. Those two usually don't deserve any responses anyhow, if for no reason other than their lack of respect and unwillingness to conduct a civilized tone.
