Chelle, like it or not Walmart is here to stay. Apparently more than enough people like the idea of walking under one roof and being able to get tires put on their cars, then walking a few feet and picking up a game of Scrabble. Stroll over to the opposite end of the store and do your grocery shopping.
If you have the time, desire and money Walmart can be an all day adventure. A pharmacy to get your prescriptions filled and a manicure or a haircut while your waiting for that prescription.
Do your banking, or shop for live fish for an aquarium. Wedding plans...pick out and order a wedding cake. Eye doctor, glasses. If you get tired and hungry while doing all your shopping, stroll over and take a rest and order a sandwich at their Subway.
Myself, I get in and get out with what I Need. I'm not a huge fan of shopping. I've got to really be in the mood to do the all dayer marathon shopping experience with a fat bank account or I have no interest.
I appreciate Gary's posts about Walmart and the other projects in the area. He saves me the time and effort of researching for info and keeps us all updated as to what he has learned.
"To each his own but I find his constant positive/happy Walmart posts extremely disturbing."
You find this disturbing enough that it makes you "cringe"? With everything posted on the board, this is what gets you...I don't get it. Maybe you missed the post last night about the local guy getting shot in the chest.
