Dee, with your way of thinking it would be no different if you had a rental property. If you rented out a house you owned for a few years and then decided to sell this rental home, would you sell your rental property at less than 10% of your asking price because you had successfully rented for several years before you decided to sell it?
I would think you would consider your original investment in the property and price it to sell accordingly.
