Good for TJs and good for the parents.

I think the generational difference is not so much about the bar.

I just remember when I was involved in youth activities, I always had to work at the fund raiser.

True, adults needed to be there to insure the efficiency of the operation -- good adults who know how to think.

But the kids had to be in there assembling plates, washing dishes, assisting patrons, and cleaning up after them if any of these fund raisers were eat in.

If the Church or school had a fundraiser, get the kids in to help even if it doesn't benefit the kids directly. I always liked going to those fundraisers because I knew I'd be working with friends. And true, we needed an adult to tell us to quit jacking around once in a while, but whatever work we had to do didn't seem like work at the time.

Well I have nothing to say against this fundraiser. If you think 1500 madison is the place to make money, great.

I find it curious that you can make more without the people who are benefiting from this being there.

I would tell those princesses they would have to work - because they are benefiting from the proceeds.

Kids don't have to lift a finger for themselves it seems.

But that's okay, I'm the one that's old school and doesn't understand.

I just don't get 'it' and I'm not with the times.

Pardon me if I don't wanna be right.
