No, it sure isn't. If anything, we've all become used to if not jaded to mudslinging between politicians so we most of the time we view it as political business as usual. But this situation with the 62040 election group, the mayor being aware of who owns and runs the group, being a member himself and not speaking out over the biased being displayed by his council, I don't think would settle well with a judge in this particular situation. The mayor certainly does not need the protection, he is completely capable of handling this election and the opponent himself. And he certainly doesn't need the biased interference of his council to help him win either. His first election was another slam dunk win considering the alternatives and this one will be no different unless the people screaming a fit over this election group and what the council member has been doing with the censorship and allowing the character assassinations against anyone who doesn't support her choice for mayor, reaches the boiling point and all her efforts backfire and sends sympathy votes into the realtors column.
