It appears as if someone may have reached out to the mayor or the Granite City council member about her facebook group. Someone or something sure made her aware of the lack of liability protection over changing the name of the LLC group to the 62040 Election group. I'm sure once she thought about the situation she put herself, the council and the city in without realizing it she couldn't apply the brakes fast enough. It's a bit too late to take back and reverse the damage that was allowed to be done for weeks on that group multiple times daily. It's like a lightbulb went off in someone's head and they thought oh no, what have I been thinking, I wasn't thinking!

The name was changed again and this time renamed to the 62040 LLC. Then quickly after a new post was made for members to once again follow the council member's group rules. After weeks and weeks of personal attacks and character assassinations of the mayor's only opponent, now she has decided that her members must follow the group rules.
