It was an awesome pick, it just never had a chance to get through. When Gaetz did McCarthy in he made some enemies with the RINOS and he only had a few to play with to get the nod knowing every Democrat would vote as a block. Now the Democrats will focus on Hegseth and see if they can take him out, but that one won't be so easy.

The Democrats voted 100% for every Biden pick for his cabinet if only the GOP were that loyal. And many Republicans voted for these mutant Biden picks, including Garland.

I'm thinking maybe Gaetz can take Rubio's Senate seat, not predicting it, just wishing out loud. That would make leftist heads explode, which for me is a wonderful thing.
