Not so "awesome" was it? Gaetz says he withdrew because in his words:

“While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition,”

What a joke, there was nothing unfair about it.

At least we know that some Republicans can say "NO" to Trump's every stupid decision.
