Love the Aunt Jenny bit, hilarious! I agree, they knew he was toast and hid his ass at the beach trying to run the clock out leaving literally no time for a Primary in the event they have to move old Joe out to pasture. Then the debate happens and once again Aunt Jenny shows up (love that) and at that point old Joe is officially declared incompetent and dead to them, magically because Kamala was on the ticket and with no time left for a primary, she by default becomes their candidate.
