Immigration was already a campaign issue, it had zero to do with this do nothing legislation. You dont wait 3.5 years after saying the border is secure and then try to do a quick, ineffective, bandaid non fix because you are feeling the heat.

No tightropes on these three issues. The main thing you and I disagree with on Trump isn't policy. It's delivery. He needs to focus and stay on topic because every time he goes off the rail about the non-issues, the media runs with it.

Make no mistake though, I want to see Harris leaving D.C. on Jan 20th. I want border security, respect for police and a tough on crime policy. Trump just tends to alienate a part of the voting public that he needs this time.
