: Sorry for the side-Discussion but Glen's
: comment interests me.

: Our Mk1 does have the PCV. However, I
: have fitted a NOS part with a diaphragm
: that is still pliable. On my son's
: Spitfire I simply connected a draft
: tube the valve cover's nipple and ran
: that back and down so it exits under
: the frame... like cars from the 1950s.
: If you don't run the PCV valve what
: have you guys done?

: Stupid question...you don't have one of
: those goofy "PCV" that came
: on a few years, ie the ones with a
: diaphragm in them that ruptures and
: oils up a couple cylinders?
: No?
: Good, sorry I had to ask...
: Keep us posted.

:Hi. Actually yes I do have one of those. It came from a 68 GT6 MK.1 I mounted it at the rear of the engine and removed the diaphragm. Ran a hose from the valve cover to the body of the PCV valve and another tube down the rear of the engine to the bottom edge of the block. Sort of a drip machine for the road.
