Raja Nor Kamar binti Raja Salim was married to a former Raja Di-Hilir of Perak. This title indicates he was on his death the second heir to the throne. Succession in Perak is by appointment inside the reigning family. Her husband, whose name was (Raja) Ahmad Hisham (1906-1997), was the eldest son of Raja Abdul-Malik, the fourth son of Sultan Abdullah Mohammed Shah II who reigned 1874-1877 (when he was deposed).
