That would not increase the numbers of Princes in line of succession. And I don't understand the idea anyway. The man who was interviewed saw it as a problem that it could take so many years for Prince Hisahito to become Crown Prince. But right now he is only an infant. 20 years from now, Emperor Naruhito will be 66 years old and his brother 60. If Naruhito has no son of his own, everyone will know that Hisahito is a future Emperor, so they can start educating him for that role even though he is not formally the Crown Prince.
