Yes rob, there are AA-C's who are making $200,000 annually in the ACT model (Hospital employee or Private Group employee). A few months ago on line, an anesthesia group were looking for 3 AA's to hire, with 4 Full time Anesthesiologists and 1 Full-time CRNA already on staff. ANESTHESIOLOGIST ASSISTANTS JOB (AA/ AA-C/ R.N.,AA-C) $200,000 Salary - General, B&B, OB - No hearts! Great Quality of Life - Average 45 hrs per week. Position Full Time Minimum Income (Annual Estimated w-2 Salary or 1099 Payment) $200,000 Maximum Income (Annual Estimated w-2 Salary or 1099 Payment) $220,000 Will AA insert Central Venous catheters? - Sometimes Will AA insert arterial catheters? - Sometimes Will AA insert Lumbar epidural catheters? - Never Will AA administer spinal anesthesia? - Sometimes Will AA administer Axillary Brachial Plexus Blocks? - Sometimes Will AA administer other regional anesthesia blocks? - Sometimes Will AA be an Anesthesia Group employee? - Yes Is a current ACLS card required? - Yes Is a current PALS card required? - Yes New Graduates Acceptable AA-C's? - Yes How often will AA be on First call?
