I know of some AAs who work on an "as needed" basis where they'll get a call if a hospital or private surgery center needs some extra help for the weekend or something...so maybe that's what you're looking for. However, the ones who do that usually do that in addition to another full time job or a teaching position. I can't imagine wanting to go get your butt kicked in AA school for 2+ years just so that you have something interesting to do during your time off.
