Unless you are referring to a surgical technologist and the shortest program for that that I can recall is around 15 months.... which is alot longer than you are looking for....I do know that the hospitals do OTJ training to become an anesthesia aide....But again, this is all about what you put into it(time). If you are planning to apply again next year, time is not on your side....You may need to reconsider re-taking course work or the GRE or MCAT to strengthen your application instead of health-care experience because that is what you actually have time to change...Just a little help along the way..
