I'm sorry Pete but I can't speak for every body I can only speak for my self. I wouldn't go far as to say it's acceptable but keep in mind this is a AA message board for prospective AA-Cs, S-AAs(student) & future AA-Cs this is not a CRNA board. Unless your on here supporting AA-Cs you and other CRNAs have no right being on here.

I think it's very disrespectful & unprofessional when you and other negative CRNAs come on here constantly "bashing" AA-Cs. I can assure the average AA-C would not have a problem working with CRNAs no offense but with your colleagues(CRNAs not all) arrogance's, unprofessionalism, politics(dirty), monopoly, $$$greed & tactics you all use to block AA-Cs from working in other states where mid-level anesthesia providers are needed acutely such as AA-Cs. In reality who would want to work with you with an attitude like that?.

I hate to say it Pete no offense but you and your association(AANA)sound like the KKK(klu-kluk-klan Men) saying white power! with "FEAR & HATRED" with the only difference is you all are saying CRNA power! with "FEAR & HATRED" towards AA-Cs in the same manner with a very negative impact. Think about it how the KKK operate they will do, say, and stop at nothing to gain and keep their hatred & numbers strong at any means necessary! when it comes to minorities(Blacks, Hispanic, & Jews etc.)

The way I see it AA-Cs are the minority and the AANA are the KKK they will stop at nothing to keep their numbers high and see to it that AA-Cs do not gain anymore ground as anesthetist practicing in other states or opening more AA programs at any means necessary now if that's not "fear and hatred" then you tell me what it is?. Which I find very "sick and sad" life is to short we need to wake up and respect one another and except our indifference's on how we obtain our degree as anesthetists AA-C or CRNA in reality where doing the same exact job in the ACT or out of the ACT model.

In conclusion this world is changing by the minute there is nothing that I or You(pete & to the rest of the negative CRNAs on here)can do about it. It's just like "death" at some point in our life one day we all will have to "die" whether we like it or not there is nothing I or You can do about it to change that we "both" have to except it as well as every body on this AA message board.

In Same matter with the AA-Cs they are growing fast in numbers, there will be more AA schools opening, there will be more states welcoming AA-Cs, licensing and/or practice privilege rights in the ACT model, they will have more support from the MDAs, DOAs, and yes some CRNAs too that are very open minded, honest, fair, & respectful towards AA-Cs. There is nothing YOU! or your colleagues(CRNAs)can do about it to stop it.

Keep in mind there are AA-Cs and CRNAs who are either married to each other or dating as boyfriend and girlfriends etc. I assure you that CRNA who is married or dating an AA-C would support them If I was a CRNA and my wife or husband was a AA-C you better believe I would support them in every way I can meaning there society(AAAA)as well that's my spouse my love one. I would still support my society as a CRNA as long it dosen't involve dirty politics blocking AA-Cs the right to practice in other states that's where I would draw the line Why?...because now your disrespecting my spouse who is a AA-C.

Do you and your colleagues(CRNAs not all CRNAs think or act like you) really hate AA-C that much?...There is no where in the history books, code of ethics, or secrete code stating that CRNAs would be the only mid-level master degree anesthesia provider practicing in the United States of America for eternity or forever, no other profession would be able to practice as a anesthetist unless they are a nurse(sorry to disappoint you but not true). Back in the early 60's they were having issues with a major shortage of Anesthesiologist & CRNAs so two Anesthesiologists M.D. created the AA profession that the AA-C would have to have an Bachelor's under-graduate degree with pre-med core curriculum(just like the Anesthesiologist) and that they would function in the same manner as a NA(nurse anesthetist).

My friend just be grateful for what you do there are so many people who wish they were in your shoes as a CRNA or AA-Cs shoes, why?...some just don't have the capacity of knowledge to be a anesthetist as your self or as an AA-C, or they don't have the stomach to do what you do. AA-Cs are not going anywhere no time soon they have been in practice for over 38 years and counting as safe, strong pre-med science back ground, competent, highly skilled clinical anesthetist, compassionate & most of all "team players" in the ACT.

The more your association hate and fight AA-Cs the more you all(AANA)make your self look bad in every way towards the public when they really see how you act behind closed doors towards AA-Cs.

    Be at PEACE CRNAs
