and again I say there are no AAs at Mayo. AAs are not licensed nor can they work under medical delegation in Minnesota.
from anesthetist.org AAs currently work in seventeen (17) states. The states in which AAs work by a license, regulation, and/or certification are: Alabama Florida Georgia Kentucky Missouri New Mexico (university hospital settings) Ohio South Carolina Vermont North Carolina
The states in which AAs are granted practice privilege through physician delegation (meaning the anesthesiologist can delegate specific anesthesia tasks to an AA): Colorado District of Columbia Michigan New Hampshire Texas West Virginia Wisconsin
I know whats important, I never said money was everything.
now the same question back at you...
what if perfusionists earned 20K/yr to start, would you stay for the ride?
AAs will never make 100K at Mayo because they do not and cannot work there. how stubborn are you? are you really that upset that you got rejected, even with your AMAZING GRE of 920 , that you have to come here and bi#&@ because of your shortcomings?
