    Nova acceptance Archived Message

Just to let a few of you know about whatis going on with others. I am an unconventional student, meaning not the "required age". Some one who is a program director in one of the four programs mentored me through 2 years of undergrad and the course to take and not take. All was done to his spec. He told me he was behind what I am doing. Well, he "Fzcked" me. Oh, did I mention I have higher grades then both of you that were accepted to Nova already. My GRE score was 920. By the way I haven't been in school since 1973. Just came back in 1/2006. This is a very prejudice world. Nova is getting a reputation amoung its undergraduates as a very discriminatory Graduate division. I can tell you many stories of people from other schools and other parts of the country getting into Nova's Grad divisions that do not deserve to. Many of you at these other institutions have inferior grades to us. However, the difference is you guys have the right color, creed nationality, religion, and of course are of the right age. There are plenty of stories here about people beong accepted to scools that rate #7 or #8 in the country and being put on a waiting list here at Nova. There is political BS here. You know the kind, higher-up plays golf with so-and-so, daughter or son wants to go to AA school or Med school; no problem. Just donate 150K and deed is done. Move the old guy out or get rid of one of those blacks, or oh yea, get rid of another dot head--we have to many of them.
Oh yea, just thought I would let you AA's know what I heard. Doctor friends of mine have informed me that AA's are laughed at in the field. You are considered a crock of crap and don't know shit. They invented the program when the country had money and now that it dosen't you will be very lucky to get a job cleaning out the OR when the surgeons are finished. They will never respect AA's, nurse anesthetist will alway's be looked at as the more well trained and way to go. Anyway, thats enough out of me, I am just a student of the insignificant field of cardio perfusion. We do not get paid the exhorbadant salary that AA's get. We just hold human beings heartbeat in our hands.Truth is , and I will leave you with this, If the salary of the AA field was suddenly reduced to the proper number such as 80 to 90 k per year like PA's to start, then HOW MANY OF YOU POTENTIAL AA STUDENTS WOULD BE IN THE GAME?? BY THE WAY, THAT TIME WILL COME, GARRRRUNTEEEEEED!!!!!HAVE A NICE DAY SUCKERS....
