I suppose you are one of those---. Now let me tell you a fact. Everything in life is not all about money. If I wanted to be one of those stealing the money, I would have gone to medical school. It is quite a feat of achievement for those who are MDA. I chose not to cos I like the AA lifestyle and that is not to say I won't. After getting my experience and I decide I want to be one of those "stealing money" as you say, I will go to medical school. I wouldn't have wasted 7-8 years being a nurse. I will still be young and more experienced in what I do.
Next, if you think the MDA's are stealing your money, then what you should be advocating is a new billing system from MEDICARE for the MDA or incresed pay for AA and CRNA not trying to say you are now equal to an MDA's expertise. When you do that, I'll be right there with you. In all areas of life, there are ladders to climb. Even in nursing LPN and CNAs do most of the hard work and RN just supervise. They still make less and u dont see them crying. The reply they get if they complain is " Go back to nursing school and get your RN". And I am not making this up. I was a CNA for 2 yrr even with a BA in honors Biology. All cos I was trying to finally get there and be a CRNA. So my reply to that BS about stealing money is "Go to medical school, become a doctor then u too can steal money" Hahaha.
