Your A$A masters will fight the war with A$A PAC money. You will run along behind them. As you are well aware, CRNAs practice in EVERY state, in ALL practice settings NATIONWIDE. Major medical centers AND small town America? You will find CRNAs delivering safe care coast to coast in ALL of these locations. WE deliver the care, we are in each individual operating room with each patient. The total of 600 or so AAs now in existence practice with limited abilities in a few states and do so few case compared to the approximately 37,000 strong CRNA workforce that the AAs contribution is irrelevant. Big cases at major medical centers? There you are most likely to find a CRNA is at the head of the table from the start of the case to the finish in almost every location NATIONWIDE. You describe the 25% plus of states where CRNAs practice independently as "****holes". I'm sure the residents of those states can't wait for someone like you with such a low opinion of them to beg the A$A to buy practice rights in their states. Talk about arrogant! All this from nothing more than a doctors assistant? Incredible.
