I got the same email. DIdnt even know such a thing existed until that email. I was thinking it could be a soft rejection, but its slightly better than an outright rejection. -_- We just have to hope that there are people who will reject the interview. THere is really nothing else we can do to have a better chance at this point as stated in the email & confirmed by the admissions counselor(I called). Are you out of state(Kansas/ Missouri) by any chance? I know they give priority to Kansas/ Missouri residents & pick more than half of the student body from in state applicants. I'm out of state btw.
