I have no idea why I studied so hard and still made a crappy score on the GRE. It seemed like almost every other question struck me with a deer-in-the-headlights effect of having absolutely no idea how to solve the problem, like I had never been exposed to that "type" of problem before. I guess it means I either didn't practice enough or am just genuinely not smart enough for this.
I think I will take a Kaplan GRE prep course for the quantitative section since it meets two nights per week for just two weeks, so it seems like I might as well give it one last shot. If I still score below the 50th percentile, I'll either look into taking the MCAT or changing career paths entirely. There is always the BSN bridge program or applying to a general PA program and then going through an AA program.
Of course, there is also the remote possibility that I will receive the magic e-mail from Emory tomorrow afternoon.
Just out of curiosity, do you guys who have applied to Emory and haven't heard back think that Emory still has interview offers to send out? I certainly hope they do, although I do think it's unusual that they'd send them out only one week before the actual interview dates. However, I think it's also uncanny that not a single person has bragged on here about having received an interview invite.
